LFW, if your original sub was £9.95 for 12 months, the renewal will be for 12 months. If it lapses, it will cost you £9.95 for 6 months to renew.

Request review Today at 10:49 Now if you really want a challenge I will give you one…. I have this family in All census except 1901. I have had kind folk on these boards looking for them approx 6-12 months ago with no success. I keep chipping away at them but as yet have not managed to find them, so any help will be greatly appriciated.
I am looking for the following family,
Charles Miles (twin to Henry/Harry) born 1873 Lambeth ( have both certs) He marries Sally Ellen Baxter born 1879 Goole Yorkshire.
They marry 1894 in Goole ( have cert)
They obviously return to London and have a daughter
Sally Ellen miles born 1896 St Olave, london ( comes under Bermondsey)( Have cert mistranscribed on Ancestory as Sulley ) She dies in 1949 ( have cert ) At death she was known as Sarah. She is my grandmother.
Charles is a sailor on marriage 1894
( and appears on ship in Goole for 1991 census. He is orphaned after 1881 and sent to the orphan ships with his twin where he learns his trade. In1881 he is with mum Ann Emma Miles ( nee Chandler)and siblings. Dad Charles Knight Miles being in the work house where he dies 1882.( have cert))
Charles is a Night Porter at birth of daughter 1896 And on her wedding cert 1917 he is a Private ASC
I have looked through Ancestory war records for any sign of him without luck. I have looked for them together , apart under various names, done an address search and much more I just cannot find them . If that isnt enough I cannot find Harry and according to my father he did survive to adult hood.
HELP.... I will be super impressed if you can find them...So while you search high and low I will go off and watch telly........
actually ill be poping back on regular basis, cos im up to my ears in Washing and dinner making....

Don't apologize for getting back late, Trish. We're all in different time zones. Here in Canada I'm just getting ready to go to bed and our friends in "jolly olde" are probably well into slumberland. Marg

Well HI!!! Glad to see some energy on the board...wooohooooo!
I have a real challenge for you. Actually, I have been looking so long, my head hurts :(
I have a fitzgerald family in Oswestry Father William Fitzgerald Mother Amelia Thompson. Children: Catherine Thompson Fitzgerald B 1854 Louisa Thompson Fitzgerald B 1855 Matthew Fitzgerald B 1857
The family split up, amelia (emmeline AKA) ran off with the neighbour thomas (scandal)and had more children I think, and her father moved elsewhere. I have census info for catherine and Matthew up until 1901. Catherine left for australia and matthew moved to liverpool. Louisa??? Totally disppeared. Apparently she may have married and became Lady Bird??? And lived in Dublin Castle. But, the last i can find of her is on the 1861 census in oswestry when she was just 6 - parents spelt fitzgants. How young did they marry back then??????????? Scary. So what ever you can find, would love to see it! I am finally getting the hang on this genes thing, but I am ever so desperate to find this chick, and so far I have come up with nothing! Thanks a bunch Mrs Bouquet, Lady of the house speaking!!!!!!!!!!! I am ever so grateful, Jo

Hi Hyacinth and Margaret, Obviously you are looking for challenges and you have both been most helpful to me before so this is my latest. A friend gave me some info from a friend which were the surnames of her paternal grandparents with dates of birth. Male Louch c.1882 & female Heath c.1891. Heath's mother is a Fletcher
FreeBMD gives :-
Marriages Jun 1912 Louch William H Heath Bromsgrove 6c 723 Heath Mary A Louch Bromsgrove 6c 723
Births Mar 1883 LOUCH William Henry Bromsgrove 6c 437
Births Dec 1890 Heath Mary Ann Dudley 6c 43
I have obtained the 1891 census for William H Louch but have drawn a blank on Mary A Heath.
Is that sufficient of a challenge to prevent you from being bored???
Best of luck, Frances

Hi i have asked before for help but i haven't had a lot of luck nor has anyone found them, I only have my great x3 grandfather twice on the census. I have never found his marriage, but this isn't unusual i am lead to believe. I have got him on the 1861 census.
Nehemiah Ayres Age: 30 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1831 Relation: Head Spouse's Name: Susan W Gender: Male Where born: N Civil Parish: South Newton Ecclesiastical parish: South Newton County/Island: Wiltshire Country: England Street address:
Occupation:
Condition as to marriage: View Image Registration district: Wilton Sub registration district: Wilton ED, institution, or vessel: 5 Neighbors: View others on page Household schedule number: 29 Household Members: Name Age Caroline Ayres 8 Edward Ayres 1 Mo Eliza Ayres 10 Henry Ayres 3 Nehemiah Ayres 30 Rhoda Ayres 5 Susan W Ayres 27 these last four are listed as well but i don't think they have anything to do with this family. Jan Blundy 34 Henry White 5 Jemima White 29 Sarah White 1
Any information as to regards his children and his marriage would be great. His wife mn was Whitlock once transcribed as wellock.
I also have them in the 1851 census but didn't take the numbers for the reference properly. i have just put 1851 page 14 Hampshire long parish.
A huge please and a huge Thank you .
(My other board name was inarushherts, changed as my 4 year old wanted to have her name shown and mummy wanted a quiet life, lol)
