Blanch Violet Trice did not die until 1993 aged 102! So if he married there must either have been a divorce in which case she would surely know of it or as you say he could have taken up with another woman but there is little hope of finding them if he did so |

I have looked at his WW1 record in the hope that any pension he was paid might have recorded a later address -but no luck ( he joined up in 1908 claiming to be 18 when he was only 16 so here is an early evasion. Do you know his mothers maiden name which he might have adopted? |

Yes I remember Blanch Trice and yes she was 102 years of age! Her husband William George Trice did go off with another woman, she lived "across the road" whether this is correct im not sure. |

I wonder if he left a Will...perhaps naming that small child as a beneficiary? |

My Nan was the youngest of three girls, my nan was born 1922 and we think her father William George TRICE left about 1934 give or take a year. Last Known address 42 Elm Road, Mile End, Portsmouth. He was a Sergeant Major in the army, based in Colchester, Essex. |
