(another tip) for a marriage,you only need
put one partners name when ordering.

If you are ordering online from the GRO,
make sure that when the form asks
"Is the full GRO reference known?"
that you tick the "yes" box

Here's one I cant seem to find in 1851 census.....

Looking for Robert FUGE born 1822 in (it is said )Plymouth ,Devon. He married Elizabeth TAYLOR (daughter of George [occ Sawyer] & Elizabeth) on 29 Dec 1851 at East Stonehouse,Devon. They came to Australia in 1853.
Robert's parents were John (occ Cabinet Maker) & mother maybe Sarah/Sally nee LUXMOORE- maybe only earlier childrens mother.
Robert was found in 1841 aged 15 at Ersworthy,Sheepstor,Devon -not with parents. John & Sarah married in 1806 in St Anne's,Soho,London.
Robert's sister Sarah Fuge married Thomas Slocombe in 1837 at East Stonehouse (she was born c 1819-1821 in Plymouth,Devon- according to various census)

Can you lookup an 1881 Scottish census !!

Thomas Ferguson born 1880 he would maybe not be 1 year old at the time of this census not sure though. He would be with mother Elizabeth and father John, also sister Catherine and brother John --family in Dundee Angus Scotland.

I've been searching for ages for a marriage for Enoch Brown Fish who was born September 1899 in Barrow in Furness, and died in WW2 in 1942.
On the CWGC list, he is the husband of Emma.
I cannot find this marriage anywhere.

hi there . iam looking for my grandfathers and grandmothers marrige lines and date and place of marrige . his name was alfred george matthews , and my grandmother was called kathleen margaret eerie/eyrie . i think they got married in romford area .. thank you for your help colette hi sorry i am 22 my dad is 66 so my grandad would be in his 80s 90s he died in 2000-2001 i think
