Hi Gerri,
I do not know why but somewhere among my mountain of papers I am sure I have something on William Chadwick and Winchester near Alvenstock whether that was where he was on trial for robbery there I do not know . I know in 1828 he was 43 so he could have been born 1784 or 1785. I have been told I can get files from Kew and I emailed them but nothing. Oh well life was not meant to be a bed of roses but this ghost hunting has more hazzards then a bed of roses. Cheers Rona in cold Australia.
