I have found my great x 3 grandparents in the 1841 census living at Bedford Street with 2 of their children. |

This is the most probable birth for James going on the 1841 census for him,it will give you his mothers maiden name. |

Thanks Viv there seems to be a large concentration of Shaws around at that time.I have found quite a few buried at Toxteth Park cemetery going through the online indexes. |

Is it the same family on the 1851 census who have an older daughter Mary Ann born 1831? If so could she be a daughter of Sarah born before she married? |

I have got a couple that seemed to have died during or not long after childbirth.Joseph must've been made of strong stuff because he was 81 when he died and is buried with his daughter in law and great grandchild. |
