Ice cream sundae

Never tried goat , Allan what is it similar to..?
Then , when in a curry (which I hate..too hot for me ) the flavour is masked.

Jambalya

$$ had goat many years ago in Cyprus. Very similar to mutton, has to be cooked the same way, slowly at low temps. Shop closed when we got there, but still got our venison (direct from the farm). The knack with a curry is to not let the spices overwhelm the base ingredient whether it be beef, mutton, prawns etc

Kale

Thanks for that..re goat, glad you got your venison:)
I appreciate what you say about cooking curry Allan ,tho I only do a chicken one for my lot, but I can't take the 'heat 'of the spices however mild.
Neither can I eat food hot from the oven !

Lemon meringue

OH just made one. We pruned our lemon tree last week and have heaps to use up.
I make my own curry powder which is 'mild' (very subjective term!) but then add other spices as required, including more chilli if wanted. I tend to go overboard on the cummin as I love the flavour
