Thank you Lancashire Ann. I managed to find out what he died of and that it was in Queen Alexander hospital in cosham Hampshire. Also where he was buried which isn't far from where i grew up.

Ok, thank you. It does look like the rest of Sarah's children were illegitimate and possibly fathers from the workhouse.

Sorry to put a damper on your suggestion, but I would doubt very much that it will help. Sarah will probably have named Thomas - who died in 1877 - as the father, if she named anyone Sometimes, one has to accept that answers cannot be found

Hi everyone, thank you for all your help. I am so overwhelmed with all the information you have all found out for me. I managed to find some of it out in the end and unearthed more possible relatives that may have been in the armed forces as found a picture.
James Henry Peacock 1892-1967 Born in Darlington Married Lilian Ogburn in 1917
James Henry Peacock (The son) 1919-1963 Born in Rugby Married Elsie Stanton. Died in Kirkham Lancashire.
I would be grateful for any help on this.
