Member Since: June 2006 Posts: 1,396 Send Message	Hello - the following is the 1901 census 1901 census Carnarvon Street Carlton Notts Thomas Atherstone Mann Timekeepter 49 Nottingham Mary Ann 38 Marske Yorkshire (nee Flatters) Ethel Mary 9 Sedgefield Co Durham Vida Estella 7 Sedgefield Co Durham Stephen John 4 Nottingham Sept q 1896 On family search is the following Stephen John Mann United Kingdom, Merchant Navy Seamen Records Name Stephen John Mann Event Type Military Service Event Year Range 1918-1921 Event Place United Kingdom Birthplace Nottinghamshire Birth Year 1896 Could someone please see if they can find anything on Ancestry about his service? I also can't find him on the 1911 census but I suppose he could have been at sea as early as age 15. In 1911, Vida is in London and Ethel is in Lincolnshire. His mother is deceased, can't find his father. Thank you.
