William was alive in 1881. Strangely daughter Ellen's birthplace is given as Manchester, though the year tallies with the Irish registration i posted earlier. However William was in Manchester in Oct 1867, so we don't know how long he remained there. Was she born in one location, but registered in another?

Ellen seems to have married as Helen:
Name: Helen Tyler Estimated Birth Year: abt 1869 Age: 23 Spouse Name: Malcolm Bonner Morgan Spouse Age: 21 Record Type: Marriage Event Date: 9 Jan 1892 Parish: Pentonville St Silas Borough: Islington Father Name: William Tyler Spouse Father: Andrew Bennett Morgan Register Type: Parish Register
Her father William Tyler is described as dead, but also as a beadle, which tallies with William's occupation in the 1881 census above.
Malcolm filed for divorce from Helen in 1904, by which time they had had six children, two of whom had died. he claimed she had committed adultery and was expecting a child to whom he was not the father, and asked for custody of the four surviving children. The divorce was granted in 1905.

Not sure if this is the record for the father, Henry Mclaughlin, as age is out with that given in census 1851, but he seems to have been discharged at Chatham.
????
First name(s): Henry Last name: MCLAUGHLIN Calculated year of birth: 1809 Parish of birth: Dungwen Town of birth: Dungwen County of birth: Derry (Londonderry) Age at attestation: 21 years Attestation date: 17 December 1830 Attestation corps: Attestation soldier number: Discharge rank: Private Discharge corps: Royal Newfoundland Companies Discharge soldier number: 333 The National Archives reference: WO97
A labourer by trade he enlisted in the 58th regiment of foot in Derry. he served 9 years in Newfoundland and the remainder at home.
At the time of his discharge he was a labourer by trade, 5 ft 7 ins, grey eyes, dark brown hair and a sallow complexion, aged 43 years.
he was discharged at Chatham in June 1852 as unfit for further service, but appears to have had problems with his legs back in 1844.
His chronic rheumatism and debility was certified to be a result of climate and military srvice, and not of intoxicating liquors or other vices.
His character and conduct was said to be very good, and he was in possession of four good conduct badges.
He married in Sept 1831.
There is no record of wife or family other than the statement he married in Sept 1831.
