Hi , wondering if anyone can help with my search , My Grandmother was Irene Lillian Hawkins b 1923 West Brom Stafffordshire Daughter of Harry Hawkins and Lillian Gertrude York b 1899 Smethwick Staffordshire d 1970 West Midlands ,We know that my Grandmother married Thomas Houston around the early 1940,s and moved to Scotland where she lived till her death in 1993 ,We also know that her mother Lillian remarried in 1952 to Frederick J Binley , knowing so little about my grans family we would so like to find out more information ie what happened to her father Harry Hawkins, We were also told Irene might have had a sister Beryl Hawkins b West Brom 1928 who married Frederick J Gibbs 1950 Birmingham , Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
