Wow !!! I am trying to track down relatives of my gran...sadly passed....she was separated from 2 brothers when her mother left them. I now remember that my grand mum was called Daisy !! I could not remember the brothers names but found a John dorman whose mothers maiden name was price....so this must be my grans family ....I want to trace relatives to see if any of them knew of my gran as she was sent away when she was very young. Also Walsall rings a bell .

I believe that some f the family did emigrate...so it looks likely that was my grans brother.

I think it would be a good idea if you haven't got it to buy the birth cert for Frances, it may give a full name for Bert her father, he may have a middle initial that would be useful to know. I can find a Bert A Dorman, on 1901 census but he is a hotel manager from America??
