My dad has a cousin that he grew up with called Mary Jenkin who married an american(serviceman i think). Dad now has dementia and can't remember what her married name was or where she moved to. He'd love to find out if she's still alive, all i know is she came to visit family around 1982?? Her father was called Reuben Jenkin and she was born in Redruth Cornwall. Sorry it's not much but it would be lovely if i could even find out a little bit.

Thank's everyone. You've all got the right family,Mary's father was that same Reuben and grandfather was Francis. Mary was born 1929 so she could easily have already passed away by now. It was definatly an American serviceman she married although for some reason i have Canada in my head. She came over for a visit when i was about 11 and dad took us to meet her, i've tried to contact someone via facebook who i'm pretty sure is her niece but i've waited a year and still no reply sadly. It's so frustrating lol, dad's nearly 85 and he'd love to know how she is but because he's got dementia he can't remember detail's apart from her husband's family owned a refrigeration business and he has 2 photo's that she sent to him from when she came over.

Is he? I haven't found anyone relating to Gerald as yet although to be fair i hadn't really checked him out, i was going down the Hazel route as i know my dad saw her a couple of year's ago. I did ask dad today if she got married here or over there and he think's she married in America which would explain why i'm stumped trying to find her marriage here.
