Find Living Relatives

Hello not sure If i should be posting this here or somewhere else but just wondered if anybody could help me with finding some information to help me build up my familly tree I do not have accurate if any dates and get a little confused when trying to search for names.anyway to get to the point :-) could anybody help me with the names of my father's parents my dad is john Robert sutton and I think through searching on here that his mother was jannete hazel hill just not sure how to find out a name for my grandad I also know that my dad had quite a few brothers and sisters but again not sure how to search for names and dates apologise for the essay or if it is a little confusing would be ever so grateful for any help Thank you :-)

Add a wide year range - I used 1950-1970 which threw up a few more matches in the same reg district. There's a few more in West Brom, but unless you know differently, they could be from a different Sutton/Hill marriage.

Wow I never new about a twin sister my farther was from Birmingham. I think just through remembering snippets of what he used to tell me that he had a sister called tracey and a brother could tim there are more but not sure of any other names thank you for your help

Sorry my father is john Robert sutton not Robert and I thought the jannete hill that I had found was his mother but as I abit of a novice with all this I could be wrong :-S

The jannette hazel that you have found is hazel a middle name or surname iv confused myself as I thought that was John's mother :-S

Although Freebmd is an ongoing project, it throws up 6 results (inc Dad) 1950-1970

Is there no one in your family who can remember the names of your Grandparents Amanda?

There are several possibilities......you might have to send for a copy of your father's birth certificate for details of his parents.

Sadly no I no longer have contact with my father my mother and him both moved out of Birmingham so I don't have any other family who I could ask as no contact was kept.and yes Malyon I beleive that they were married and all children born in Birmingham :-)

I could post some possible Sutton/Hill marriages.......but at the end of the day, they are just possibilities.

I can only advise you to purchase a copy of your fathers birth cert, so that you know for certain who his parents were.
