If you're after relatives, I'd be inclined to order the Will. On the other hand, the DC will give the cause of death. The informant might also be related.

Am I being stupid as I can't find it! (although I have had 2 screaming kids running around as trying to look) ??

There is a marriage with the spelling as per his birth and death registered in 1972

But the 1951 marriage has his name as Derek.

Thanks Pam, it is hard as we have nobody to confirm this with! Apparently he went on to have more children and re-marry although there are no records in the Shropshire area (he may have moved away). We are also trying to trace his children which is hard as we have no names or possible area. This is not going to be easy!
