Looking for a James Poulton married an ileen Geddes in 1961 soon split any info would be great

Do you know if he stayed in the same area as the marriage ie Leicester ( from freebmd.org.uk)

As far as I know he stayed in Leicester he has a son called mark. (My dad)

Have you got the marriage certificate for information about his Father?

Do you know if his was the birth in Leicester in 1943?

Hi we don't really have any information at all all I know is his name is James Poulton he married iileen Geddes in 1961. That could be about the right year for his birth year as my grandma was in the early 40's! I'm sorry I don't have much to go on at all! My dad was also born in 1961 his name is mark Poulton. Sorry, put Mark, realised wrong, 'immediately' changed to James, but you read it in that instant when it was the wrong name showing.

The marriage certificate will give his name, might give his age, his Father's name, occupations, addresses, and if really lucky a brother as a witness.

We can try and look backwards to move forwards.

When you get the cert, you'll see how old he said he was, and the name and occupation of his father.

The names of the witnesses may also be helpful.

The best thing you can do is to post the info on here when you get it, and people will help as much as they can
