As I posted previously, the parents of Albert William Desmond Dance, killed in France, were probably Albert E and Lucy.
The second marriage of Albert E., to make Albert W D stepson to Frances would be this one:

There is a tree on Ancestry with the above named, but no further info, the tree owner would appear to be a 'Dance' though.

EDIT not connected as this marriage produced 3 children.

So your Father claimed that Albert died in 1944 in the war.

You were told that Albert William was the father of Desmond Ronald born 1926. So Albert should have been born around 1900.

Your father said that Albert was in the war. This is possible for someone born 1900, but less likely, depending on what he was doing.

Do you have any more information on Desmond Ronald, or his wife, or any other children that your grandfather or greatgrandfather may have had?

Interesting about the Albert William Dance death in 1944 as that is when my father Kendall said Albert did die, he said he was in the War but didn't know to what degree. And I dont know his Parents details.

Kendall said he was born in Liverpool UK. I have just emailed our Home affairs department to see what info I can Pull from them.

Did he say he was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, as there are other places called Liverpool around the world?

Again, probably just coincidence of 'Albert' 'William' and 'Desmond'

Desmond Ronald dance married Terresa Woodrow, Albert William Dance married Adelaide ? not sure of maiden name.

Kendall my father is still alive and this info is based on what he has given me. The problem is that I cant find him on any South African records neither, which is why I decided to try the UK as he said he was born in Liverpool.

It appears that Shanon was born SA, so info needs to be checked there first to make sure the dates and UK connections are correct :-)

Jacqueline I am aware that the only records i could find were of Desmond Gordon which was what I posted as being the only records that came up .

Desmond G born 1929 has father Horace on several Ancestry trees, so not likely to be him.

I think you need to double check your information as the are no births showing in England or Wales for a Kendall Ronald Dance.

Where was Desmond Ronald Dance born??......as there are no births showing in England or Wales.
