The birth cert for Doris would have been more informative

You can't assume that Jessie was childless just because of the info on her death cert

I obtained the death certificate of Jessie Steel. The informer on the death certificate is not a family member. They had no children

Doris Steel bn 1918,,,,,,Carlisle Cumberland ,,mothers maiden name------Graham,

Doris Steel died 1920,,, age 1,,,,,,,Carlisle Cumberland --- could mean just before 2 nd birthday.

If there are no children on freebmd, they didn't have any in England or Wales.

Look for James and Jessie's deaths and find out who registered them, by obtaining a copy of the cert(s)
