Find Living Relatives

Thank you for helping, just got this from my friend, some where along the line, he changed his name as his birth name is not the same as his name on his Royal Navy document.
Been looking Scotlands people for a death cert, can not find any thing on him on either names.
Born in Preston 13th march 1924 .His mother was Agnes Mathews born 7th may 1885 his dad was Thomas cooper .Thomas Henry Cooper died 21st june 1936 aged 23 years his other brother Bernard was born on d day 6th June think he would be 90 now Thomas Henry Cooper was known as Harry. My friends Dad Richard Cooper married13th november 1945 at all saints church tollcoss Edinburgh

I am in no way related to this person, only trying to help my friend find her Dads resting place if he is dead.

so where did the family live after the edinburgh wedding .


is Bernard his brother born 20 years apart ?

if his mum was born in 1885 surely she would be a bit too old to be having a child in the 1940,s

D day was the 6th June 1944!!

so re reading page one Thomas Henry Cooper born 1913 died in 1936 was his brother not his father .

seems his brother Bernard was born in 1915 not d day 1944!! .have you followed him through ?

I am just looking for the final resting place of my friend father, who used Richard Mathew Dermot Cooper also Richard Michael Derry Cooper on his Royal Navy papers. He got called Danny at home, very confusing !!

He may not be dead as he is only 90

He may have changed his name completely? if he changed his middle names for no reason at all

I know he may not be dead, he did not appear to have good health though !
Yes that is possible that he could have changed his name as he already had done so with his middle names.
The family still live in Edinburgh.
