Find Living Relatives

I am looking for my step brother Roy Dean Curtin born Havering Essex in 1967.
his mothers maiden name was either Jowett or Joneti and she possibly re-married in 1972 to Barry Fuller. Roy may have possibly gone to school on the Isle of Wight.
Does anyone know of his Whereabouts or have you known him in the past?

I have never met him I have only seen a school photo yes I would like the link please

Would there be a way of confirming his fathers name other than asking directly via facebook?

If you have sent a message on facebook....he may not see it if you are not friends with him

Also he may have taken the surname of Fuller.?

Edit,,,,,,The person bn 1976 accurate year of death is 1996,,,,,,just to clarrify.

Whether he uses his facebook account or not, if he isn't a friend he will not see any messages unless he knows where to look

He has Barry as a friend plus a couple of Jowett's

So looks likely to be the same person

Barry isn't his fathers name I know what that is I just want It confirmed. How is all this info being sourced I cant even find information about me and my wife on genes reunited

If Barry adopted him when he married his mother....then he would now be his father

No one can confirm it but the person concerned

I do not use Genes for records, but his birth and mothers marriage should be on here same as on Find my past and Ancestry.

Any other info can be found by googling in most cases

Not sure why you cannot find yourself on here I found your birth and marriage

If they do not know where to look it could be sitting there for ever as there is no notification alert at the top of the page anymore for NON FRIENDS

I use facebook more than I use GR so approx. 18 hours a day...I DO NOT get an email when I receive a message as I would get totally fed up with it very quickly.

A lot of people who use facebook on a regular basis would have notifications via email turned OFF

I was just trying to say he MAY NOT get a notification which happens a lot now

My son has sent a message on face book. No reply yet but i have seen pictures and it looks promising as one of the photos looks alot like the only one i've seen of him when he was at school

For the all thanks I got for helping Malcolm ( found Roy on Facebook etc )
he has got GR to block me, after sending him data direct to him
3 emails in total ....... now the emails have vanished & his replies also

this after I sent him Roy's address as he had received no reply from Facebook

Possibly he did not mean to block you, as he is a new poster?

If people can accidentally report threads, they can probably block by clicking randomly.

Or it could be a glitch/mistake by genes. (Along the lines of always backup data)
