I am looking for a Michael Wright who was adopted and his mothers maiden was Heather June Wright if anyone can help please. :-)

You could search all trees on this site to see if anyone has Michael or his mother listed on their trees and send them a message. Although technically we aren't supposed to add names of living people without their permission, make sure that they are on your own tree.

Struggling to find a Michael Wright, mmn Wright birth in Ilford. If he had a middle initial it might help your future searches along with an accurate yob or full dob if you were to purchase the certificate

How sure are you of his pob and name?

Hi thanks for getting back to me yes I have traced that Heather was previously married 1947 to Doorey does this match you also ?
The only details I have was that she had a son Michael who was given up for adoption have I got the correct person here ?

As Heather was born in WEST HAM are you sure of Ilford for the birth ?

I am not sure that Iford was where Michael was born I know Heather was born in Leyton West Ham and then went to Northumberland so I have been tracing all the births in both areas, Do you know anything about Heather ?

Jane - the 1947 marriage which Fairthorn posted was to a Mr Doorey.

Like Fairthorn is wondering, could Heather have been sent out of the area when her pregnancy began to show?

Fairthorn and unless they say otherwise, anyone else who posts on the thread have no knowledge of the people involved.

All we are doing is searching the various available sites, some of which you may not subscribe to, and drawing conclusions.

Added - unless she had family ties to Northumberland prior to her marriages, its rather far to have been sent to give birth!

Yes I understand that Heather had maybe moved out of the Ilford area to have Michael when she seperated from Mr Doorey its so frustrating I do not have the correct date of birth for Michael. Thanks for your help I am desperatly trying to trace Michael.

There is a Michael Doorey born in 1950 in the north of England??

There are 3 Doorey/Wright births showing Cambridge, Northumberland and Richmond only one marriage

Thanks Jax I have searched the marriage all my traces lead to Heather and none to Michael !! I have looked at Birth certificates to check birth mothers with maiden names as Wright.

There doesn't seem to be anything else for Michael P Doorey apart from the birth

Thanks Jax I now traced that Michael was born in Northumberland in 1950 !! My next search is to find him he was called MIchael Doorey I have searching the wrong name thanks for your help :-D

Looks like the other son was also adopted

on GR FAMILY TREE ( odds under new surname )

shame it is an old membership number
