Find Living Relatives

Hi I am looking for my father, he served in the Raf. I was born in Singapore Changi, my father served in Singapore 1968/1971 then posted to RAF St Athens (Wales) then to RAF Kinloss, Morayshire N Scotland from 1971 -1980's
My father was born in Rotherham July 1946. To Mark Cooper & Gwendoline Beckitt
I have not seen my father since 1980
Can any one hep me find him, have searched many web-sites but lays a dead end.
His Ex RAF service No: X4284382

I have recently found he re-married in April 1986 to Susan Morris in Rotherham.

i see he has a sister born in 1947 . her birth will be on FreeBMD

Unfortunately there are several marriage possibilities for her in Yorkshire from 1963 onwards

Thank you for helping me, yes he got divorced from my mother Jeannie Cooper probably 1981- 1983, I found out that he has a sister called Christine but was never told anything bout my father's side of the family.

Yes that's the correct Mark Cooper, I didn't have all the information on D.o.B
All the information you have given me has helped me to understand my father's side of the family. Now just got to find where he is I still have his RAF service No. X4284382 again this seems to be quite hard to find the correct path to go down but I'm still trying to find information on ex service personel.

On Search Trees theres Annette who has Terry Cooper 1946 Rotherham in her tree

I have sent a request to Annette to view tree but not heard back.

Best not to ask straight away to view anyones tree without establishing if there is a family connection.

i know if i got such a request out of the blue I would say No chance !!

I would try again with another message . Take out all refs to viewing her tree and put Terrys details in and what you know so far and ask if there is any connection to her Terry she has listed.

I have been given more information on my father, it looks as though he has retired to Paignton Devonshire. Re-married again in 1995 to Christina Hayes, still trying to find information on their marriage but getting closer though have been told they are not together. My father moved to Paignton in 2009 so let's hope I will meet him after 34 years.
I would like to thank everyone on Genes Reunited if it wasn't for your help especially to Shirley :0) as I had no information to go on.

not seeing him in Paignton but maybe he has opted out of the public electoral roll.

have you tried writing to RAF to whom they will forward a letter onto him for you but this is only if he is getting a raf pension.
Exact thing happened to a relative of mine and this is how they found them.

I have found him and Christina on the 2012 electoral roll and PM,s the info :-D

well seems was only Christina still at that address but have probably found him on BT online .

Found out that my father is not living at the address in Paignton it was a Tim Cooper.
So the search is still on. I feel quite gutted but I know I am getting closer.

That's a shame ,thought we were on to something there but the ref was just a T Cooper so could have been.

Any chance Christine may know where he is ? Is it worth a try ? :-(
