No, Nanny and Dennis dated and she fell pregnant, they split up but my Dad saw his Father a few times upto the age of 4. Dad believes Dennis went on to have daughters and my Nan got married. |

Hi, Patchem, My Nan thinks he was from outside Hoxton. Possibly Tower Hamlets or the Hackney area. Dad thinks Dennis had 2 or 3 younger daughters as he often caught some girls dropping off unsigned Christmas presents but wasn't told who they were from. I have sent messages to all possible Dennis Abbotts or trees related to him in the Hackney area or not far from there. Just waiting for replies. Dad thinks the Sisters lived in Fellows Court off Hackney Road but I don't know how to check houses etc. |

Maybe I didn't word it right Penny. I haven't come on here to be judged or judge anyone else, I'm just trying to help my Dad as he was never given the right to get to know his Father even though he met him few times. |
