Thomas Hogan. Born 1910, at Wigan.1911 Census Family Boarders,living at 68 Upper Morris Street,Wigan,Lancashire.Father Edward Hogan,(1887 to 1920/21). Mother Louisa Jane Hogan,(1880 to 1963). 1922 Family living at Burnley,Lancashire.Possible Thomas Married Eirwen Thomas, Apr/Jun 1940, at Bucklow, Cheshire. Any Information welcome. Peter. |

Hi Reggie. Thanks for your replie. I do not have any information about Thomas Hogan, other than what I Posted. So I am looking for anything about him. It is possible that his wedding in 1940 at Bucklow, Cheshire, was a Double with his Sister Mary Hogan, Marring Reginal Hamment Frognal, at Bucklow, Cheshire, in 1940, also. I am still looking to confirm this. |

Hi Reggie. Received the two Hogan marriage certificates. The one for Mary was correct. The one for Thomas Hogan, wrong age, and Grooms Fathers Name. thanks anyway for your help. Peter. |

Hi All. I have obtained the Marriage Certificate for Thomas Hogan, in 1940. This is the wrong person. Possible Thomas Hogan. Died Age 2,in 1913, at Wigan, Lancashire. Waiting for Birth, and Death Certificates.Still looking for his Father. Edward Hogan. Born 1887 at Wigan.Occupation Coal Miner.Edward reported Died 1920/21, at Burnley, Lancashire.(No death Certificate found yet).Daughter Mary Hogan. Marriage Certificate. 1940 at Bucklow,Cheshire, lists Father Edward, as deceased,his occupation Stoker. Royal Navy.Any help apretiated. Peter. |

I think I may be able to help .If Edward is the same person then he was my granddad William Henrys brother .I know that he was a stoker in WW1 and married a Louisa Maloney.His parents were Michael and Mary Hogan from Corofin in County Clare Ireland.Ive only recently started this research .Have a look at Christine Nichols thread hope it helps regards Linda |
