Hi Looking for Michael Ellis the son of Arthur William Ellis, he was born in 1937 in York, to Irene, nee Hill, His father Arthur was the son of my grandfather's sister Alice Ellen Waudby. Any help appreciated

Hi, I know nothing of him apart from the fact that he was born in York in 1937 and is the son of arthur william ellis, who is the son of John Robert Ellis, who was my grandfather's sisters' husband

Have you got full information on Arthur William Ellis, including death certificate to see where he died and who was the informant?
Michael possibly has a sister Dorothy. Have you any information on her?
Have you got birth certificates for them?
There are, on average, 10 males called Michael Ellis born in England and Wales every year. He has no middle name to help in identification.
Do you want to actually make contact with him, or just add him to your family history?

If this is Arthur, he stayed fairly local, but not actually York.

Will pm one possible marriage in York in 1958, to help in possible identification of children, or 192.com.
A fairly unusual name, and showing on 192 (but not in Yorkshire)
She is in someone's tree on here.

Hi Patchem, thanks for the info, I do know that Arthur William Ellis was born in Hull, he married my grandfather's sister. Arthur William married Irene Hill and also know that a Michael Ellis wastheir child, did not know if there were any other children. It is possible that Michael in York is the one, and thanks to your info have a number and location for him,just need to ring and see if he is the one.
