I am searching for my wifes half sister Elizabeth Mary Climo born 1955 (registerd 1956) mothers name Beryl Climo.
Born at Rosemundy House, St.Agnes Cornwall.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Struggling with a 'Climo' marrying a Beryl too

Elizabeth was born as far as we know at a Rosemundy House a home for unmaried mothers, , so we are unsure of the correct REGISTERED name, it could be registered as Arfield but that is unlikley. Beryl Climo was the mothers name ,childs name (who we are searching for) was Elizabeth Mary Climo, the birth date of 1952 s as far as we know correct !

Edit .....Birth date now apears to be 1955 -registered 1956

Looks like she was actually born in 1955.

There's nothing on Ancestry for the years 1952 or 1953. A birth in the latter part of December would usually show in the following quarter.

Ummmm ok Rose..many thanks, this is proving to be very frustrating....Beryls sister is still alive but we are unable to contact her for info.
Elizabeth was adopted but we have no details.

The birth in 1956 looks to be the one. It is registered in January so is in the correct quarter. There are no other Elizabeth Climos.

Things are a little complicated as she was born as Beryl Arfield.
