only thing they know had uncle there which new little about he had six brothers and sisters which shocked me as i thought his mother martha had 2 children my father 1928 gateshead and sister joan 1933

When you spoke to Kevin ( Joan's son) are you sure it is not Joan who had the six children ?

your message said
( she told me joan died 2 years ago she has never heard of my father but she did say joan had 6 children 4 boys 2girls )

I found, if you remember, 4 sons & 1 daughter for Joan.

OR did Martha remarry & that is why Joan had another surname ?
& the extra siblings are via Martha & a remarriage ?
