hi this is wendy i have been onbefore i am still looking for alfred willey or relatives i know now he was or is in australia spoke to some relation 2 weeks ago only thing they know had uncle there which new little about he had six brothers and sisters which shocked me as i thought his mother martha had 2 children my father 1928 gateshead and sister joan 1933 but they must have movedto london by1935 as it looks as if a sidney came along 1935 and more children after i thought i had abreak though all the heip but drawing a blank still looking any help will be great thank wendy

When it was mentioned one thread per person/family it did not mean delete everything that has been found for you and start again.

We hav'nt got everything at hand or even remember what has been looked up yesterday let alone a month ago

Did Alfred have a middle name, whereabouts in Australia do you believed he lived, what is his year of birth, occupation, etc etc...when do you think he came to Australia?

Sorry you have not given very many details..I assume your other posts had the information needed?

Wendy - without buying the birth certs there is no way of knowing if the other children born Willey MMN Edwards ARE your dads siblings.

How come he didnt grow up with them?

yes i know what you mean hopefully ican do more by finding relatives who can tell me where alfred is in australia i know i am making lots more work i thought i had a lot of help got on well but who i made contact with had very little info only that there was or is a uncle in australia called alfred that is all they knew what was told by mother inlaw years ago she was alfred sister died 2 years ago but told me there had been 3 more siblings alfred had but no names given so like yourself and others on g.r i am trying to start on those closer to him and people are so kind to help wendy

i am trying my best i have and still will make lots of mistakes i know my computer skill is poor but all i want to do is get by for now and get help from gr not to be made that i dont want to continue all i want is to find alfred willey :-(

You are not getting any help from GR at all.

We are all paying members like yourself, who use our free time to try and help others.

Duplicating what has already been found tends to annoy us a bit

How long before someone tells you about people that have this family in their tree? Which you already know

If you had not deleted what has been found ,then people will not waste time looking for it again.

i am not sure how to save threads iknow what you mean i was sure we had come to the end with all of the help every one had given and the time spent to find relatives of mine and if it was not for people like yourself giveing there free time to help which has got me to know my father never left australia since 1958..60 but as you know it a big place so where do i start sorry about before wendy

The way to save threads is not to click on delete, which in the past could have been done by accident.....but not now, as you are asked are you sure

thank you for all the help you all have given me but i now know that australia is where to look just maybe hoped to find more siblings have tryed 192 have found a few s willey but will try diffrent ways around i dont expect to have found him only though other relatives which means siblings but have been lucky to speak to a third cousi which is on gr who did not know alfred as he was the other side of willeys he gone back many hundred of years to our relatives take care wendy

will you please delete -all- of the birth info you have posted, there is no reason to believe that any of those people are not living now and posting their personal details is completely against the rules

as you say, no telling whether they are even related, I can't imagine wanting my personal details posted on the internet particularly in relation to something that has nothing to do with me
