This thread hasn't obviously been transferred yet but, in case anyone hasn't seen it, there is a bird thread on the new board with mention of a bird I certainly had not heard of called a Brewers Blackbird. Seen in Yorkshire. |

No mine is a very dapper gent :-D. I was surprised just how many different species I saw down there including a Sparrow Hawk, Peregrine and also a harrier. |

I have just got back from Somerset where I have at last seen a lesser spotted woodpecker. The cottage we stayed at had bird feeders and every day it visited. I have seen loads of Green woodpeckers in my time but not a single spotted. |

I don't know Ann but have never seen them look like this before .Even some of the Blue Tits look 'rough' lol Like they have all been dragged through a hedge backwards' .The Robins definitely look the worst . |

Good to see you posting on it Jane. I wonder if Robins have been 'run ragged' by all the feeding of their babies? |

This thread has been languishing since June, nobody obviously has any bird stories. However I'll boost it up and try and get it transferred. Meanwhile I might put another bird thread up on the new board. |
