Foggy, it is lovely. I think it doesn't always matter how close they are but make sure that the cats can't lie in wait for the fledglings when they first fly. Somebody may know the answer to this but I think the birds preder the box to be facing a certain direction but not sure if it is North or South. |

We have a box that is hidden in amongst a lot of branches.The previous owners must have have put it up.We did have Blue Tits that nested in it for several years,but next doors cat was always climbing up the branches to investigate :-S.It hasn't been used now for a few years and we can't get to it to take it down and clean it as it is almost hidden . |

SparklingSandie if you hold your pointer over Community top right you get a drop down list, photographs videos is at the bottom of this list. |

Hi Jude no photographs of the ducks yet, Hubby says he sees Mrs Duck on the nest every morning when he gets up at 6am but by the time I get up shes gone walk about and you can't see the eggs now as they are covered in leaves, ducks sit on their eggs for about a month and very soon after the last one has hatched they are off, so I am hoping that I will be at home on the day they hatch so I can take pictures at different stages of hatching. x |
