Jude, just looked at mine, go into new post, settings, comments (in blue under settings). I have got mine set to registered users.

I take it my comment didn't even reach the 'pre-mod' stage? :-S

Been tring to sort it for ages, been into account but cab't find what to do.

Ann..when you have aminute check the bits in your acc that say anything about moderating etc and pom me what you have done.
We're in and out all day today.

We had a stock dove hit the window this morning for the 2nd time this week, managed to get a photo this time. Will get it on blog later. And yep it will gon my record site:o))

I chased a feral pigeon off my balcony today. How exciting is that? LOL

Haven't seen much but have been enjoying plenty of bird song. Wren, chaffinch, a blackbird that has taken to singing from the same spot on the roof of our block and sings lovely. :-D

I think the GS woodpecker may have nested in one of the trees next to our windows again judging from the chipping and whirring last week. The tree is too lush to get a good view though.

I hope anyone who is on holiday has found some nice weather.

Hello All
I saw a funny thing this morning in the back garden.There was a Stoat chasing a little Rabbit all over the lawn.The Rabbit escaped through into next door.I have never seen that before.I know Stoats and Weasels take eggs(or I think they do).Do they kill Rabbits?
Shame I didn't have that camera close by.

The magpies here are driving me Potty .We have never had as many as this in our garden!
What is a Stock Dove Island? I'll have a look at the pic.

The stock dove is Jude's. I only get wood pigeons and ferals :-(

Would you like these Magpies? You are welcome to them !!.Lots of young ones .They all gather under our large bay tree like a gang lol
I had a look at Jude's Stock Dove.I looks like a ring neck ,but without the ring.I will check out my bird book I think.

Morning all
Well very wet and dark here this morning Ugghhh

Birds still very active lots of goldfinch on the sunflower seeds Blackbirds sparrows Wood pigeons collared dove and others Oh the Jay is a regular visitor too.

Yesterday on a drive to the Channel Tunnel I said to my hubby I had never seen so many Magpies. Thankfully not too many at home

Suns shining but its cloudy, good gardening weather:o)

Have you all been watching Spring Watch......l feel the Magpies don't need to be culled, what they do is natural, its what we do as man that disrupts nature. Same with the poor badgers.

Must admit they are beautiful birds:o)

Saw a kestrel yesterday hovering over the river Wye, beautiful bird. Vic saw it the other day aswell, first time we've seen kestrels since moving to S Wales, loads in Sussex:o))
