Morning all, that's if you remember me. I have been quiet because I have been going through a rough patch and been down. Also had an X-ray and a bone scan and a CT scan to come all of which really makes me tired with the effort of getting there. I'm fed up as well with the morphine patches, every time I take one off there is a bright red itchy rash under the medicated part. I'm ringing the doctor this morning to ask about it, don't want that pain back though so I don't know what she will suggest. |

Hi Caz, good to see you on here. Maybe they can give you something to alleviate the itch. Are you allergic to ordinary plasters? perhaps it is pulling the skin when you take it off that causes it. Hope you can solve it anyway. have you finished all the scans etc now? |

HI Ann, I have one CT scan to go yet. I am allergic to ordinary plasters but for some reason there is nothing under the sticky surround, it's just under the medicated pad. I still have a perfect red rectangle where last Tuesdays patch was, very itchy and flaky now, also itching under the one I have on, due to be replaced tommorrow. Trouble is I am running out of places to put them lol. I can't use my right arm because of the Lymphodema. |
