Not been posting much as I am feeling quite stressed. I feel like I have a couple of grinders in me, working all the time, and I can't sleep. Could do with a good cry but can't seem to let it out. Yesterday I felt so low and exhausted. Not so bad today. Sorry to lower the mood.

Love to you all, I am reading you. xx

Carole you are not lowering the mood and it is your thread, you say what you like Lol!!! Sorry you are feeling down, come on here and scream.
Hope Liz has a good break, we will miss her.
Eileen, hope you have a nice break with your daughter and that baby starts to feed properly. Is she feeding baby herself? maybe he is not satisfied and need a bottle. or to start on solids.

Sue WELL DONE!!!!!!! a clear table. Try now to keep on top and do bits as you acquire them.

Elaine, hope the hospital can sort out what is wrong with your grandson, knowing what is wrong is half the battle.

deanna, hope your hurty thumb is better, is it the arthritis?

We went to gloucester this morning as there was an Italian market, all very colourful and we bough ciabatta bread, olives and a lovely creamy cheese. Plus some tomatoes and cornish new poatoes from the English market and fish and soft roes from the wonderful fish stall in the indoor market for dinner tonight.

OH been working on the garden all afternoon, I planted a few basil plants and decided not to do any more as my back was painful.

Hi

Remember that Islandoo site I was on? Well I emailed the admins and asked them to delete my profile off it completely. I did moan on here about some ignorant girls on there and when I told another male member, he was OK at first but then started calling me a "weirdo" and was even telling the girls on the site that I was friendly with that I was a "Loon" and to be warned of me. He has told one or two others about me and I feel the comments are libellous.

With my ocd, this has escalated it a bit and I went to work on Wednesday worried sick about his next move to make me unpopular. This member has made hismelf popular with the girls on the site and some find him genuine and a legend but I think far from that. He told one girl that I was the chief "Nut" on the site. I had enough. The site is not moderated and there are no end of cuss words being used. I feel better now but still worry about if he is saying more stuff as he might now be aware that I have left the site.

He introduces himself to girls by saying "Hows your fine little self today" which i think sounds a bit obscene, wouldn't you lot agree?

Any thoughts on this thing at all?

Hi every one have not caught up with all your posts yet.

Ben, I would be horrified if someone said that to me.

Quick up date, as will be with my dad for next few days. He is out of hospital, and I have to stay with him until he can be assessed for home help, meals etc. Now that I am trying to help by keeping him at home, he now says he can manage without their help. NOT. As I can do what need doing.

I am also disabled and am staying with him till help can be set in place. It is a struggle.

Not one of my family asked if I would be okay or even be able to manage. It is already put my health backwards, pain levels are sky high. Having trouble walking and I am a mess.

Hopefully will be back by Wednesday.

Love and hugs to all

Thank you Gill. I needed a winge. I love my dad, and will do anything to help him. It has got to the stage that the rest of them take me for granted. They do not understand or realise what my OH does for me at home now, so now he also has two households to help look after. OH has not said a cross word and is also doing his best. They just expect so much at times I could kick them.

I am on my way back to dads again now, just popped in before leaving. Cannot get an internet connection at dads place.

Catch up, if I ever get back home.

Morning all, dull and miserable morning here.
Gail I'm glad your dad is home but you can't be expected to see to him by yourself. Being disabled and in pain myself I know exactly what it is like, so no putting a brave face on. You are going to have to ask for help from the other members of the family or someone will end up having to look after you and your dad.

Carole, I hope you had a lovely snuggly evening and feel better this morning, we all get down at times and need to get it out, we are all here for you and anybody else who needs a good cry, shout, scream or laugh. Talking about laughs where is Joyce lately, haven't seen her for a while.
Love to everyone else.

good morning from a fairly bright Gloucester.

Gail, your OH is a treasure and youa re wonderful to your Dad but please don't take it all on your shoulders, if youa re made worse your OH has more to do and if h is ill because he does too much you will have nobody to look after you.
Please swallow your pride and ask other family members for help, point out to your Dad that, much as you love him, you are ill as well and cannot do everything so he must accept help from other people or he will have to go back into hospital. You cannot afford to ruin your health any more.

It sounds hard but other family members may just think you enjoy doing it all, you need to call for help.

YCaz, hello, No haven't seen Joyce in a while but she will be back I'm sure.

Morning Gill, you OK?

Ben
I think you are better off not going on that site, that man doesn't sound a very nice person at all. I would now put it out of your mind. "sticks and stones" and all that.

All, just off to the local garden centre for a coffee and to get a grow bag for more tomatoes. He has them in trays all over the place this year they all seem to have germinated. already given loads away!!!

Ann, your sympathy has touched my wee heart... XXX

My thumb was a surprise and lasted all day... I do feel all round better this morning and am trying to catch up with my mail.

Ben... you stay away from anyone who 'drags you down'... we do that to ourselves enough. We don't need any help from nasty people.

I have also been thinking about Joyce, but I think she takes time out when she feels bad. Just like the rest of us , she just sometimes needs a rest....
Get well soon Joyce.... I can't go on like this, *being nice to you* I mean! ;-0)

And I must apologies to Wavy one, I did not even acknowledge your bad news about your PC.

See you all later when I've caught up with my mail.

Deanna, glad your thumb is better and hope you don't make it worse again by typing too much and overdoing it. I am feeling virtuous now because I spent an hour in the garden helping my OH with planting up some plants we bought round the garden centre. Also had to exterminate a large red ants nest in a pot, horrid things. garden is looking good now s the hard work and back ache pays off!
Now by request, i will go and put another 2 chapters of my life story up on the board
EB, nice to see you on here

Hi everyone

Not been on for a few days .I have been busy in the garden and also at the fhs .

I was helping 2 brothers on friday one was really into the info I was finding for them the other spent the whole time trying to chat me up !!! Should be pleased at my age but no I can't go out for a meal and thanks but there is no need to buy me flowers !!!
You will all be thinking that's when I fell over his guide dog !!!

Going to polish my halo as I made it to church today . It was a very uplifting service and around the theme that we are ALL important beings and each have different qualities to give. That we should all try to love ourselves even though we some times don't like ourselves .
Made sense at the time even came out with a smile on my face which was short lived when I got to the supermarket .Never mind I did radiate calm and kindness for all of 30 minutes
Well saint kathy must get on with some chores.Hope you are all feeling better .I put some of your names in the healing book so if you are doing cart wheels tomorrow you will know why

Carole, our saint-elect for creating this thread, feel free to winge or let off steam, you've helped so many of us in the same place, it's our turn to support you.

Gail I'm horrified that all the responsibility seems to be on you. Time for some straight talk with other rellies.
I'm not here to complain today, nobody needs to hear about my aches and pains, I'm heading outside to try and relax while straining my hips and back in the garden. It IS good for the mental health, but doesn't do much for the joints.LOL

My poor daughter is shampooing carpets and bed and sofa since her son had something off his diet last evening and this morning they've paid the price. I'm a bit ashamed to say I didn't offer to help . . . .

ben I'd be avoiding that site, you do not need that negativity in your day. The nasties are saying a lot about themselves. You don't need to give them any excuse to say something rotten about you.

All my other friends on here, group hug. The sun's out, let's absorb some and try for a positive spin on the day.

Saint-Elect!! Now that's funny. Just looking in on you all before I go to work. Not traveling too far but it will be far enough when I need the loo!
Went to visit parents yesterday. Listened to all Mums woes! Did she ask how we were? Or my friend who has been so poorly? No, no she didn't. Did she ask about Anita (our unofficial step MIL who has cancer on her pancreas) no she didn't. She thinks she is the only one who has problems. Said there was something wrong with her loo seat, and needs a new one. That was my queue to say I'll get you one. So I let it pass. Did go to B&Q for her to pick up some plants.

I have a day off Wed to go to see psychologist hope she doesn't cancel again. So when I get home if I am on my own I hope to catch up better with you all.

Betty I'll pm you as soon as I can.

Thinking of you all and sending love xxx
