I wondered why the paramedics were there. She was dead - thought it would have been police and GP! My eyes were slightly moist at Jack's reaction when he discovered her - however keeping her warm with his coat??????????? |

slightly moist! I was awash - the bit about him keeping her warm is a natural reaction - I remember when I left Lawrence at the hospital I touched his forehead and it was so cold and it didn't seem right - if we'd been at home I too would have covered him up to keep him warm - daft I know, but I think it's instinctive |

good God Chris, no need to apologise - not necessary. Of course you would not know if you've never been in that position, how could you. I didn't know till it happened to me. |

It was sad, I don't usually do soaps but had to watch the two episodes and see for myself. I thought Jack did everything beautifully, it was obvious he loved her really despite all their argy bargying! And Tyrone too, he was like their son! |

I can confirm as i have been through this that if someone dies suddenly at home the doctor and police come round and speak to the person who found the deceased, they are taken for a post mortem and depending how busy they are you get the results a few days later, you can then register the death. My eldest had to be interviewed by the police when my mum died as mum was looking after my children for me to have an operation and my poor girl who was only 12 found her. |

thanks for all the hugs!!! I feel a bit squashed now but lovely. I think scenes like those we witnessed on Corrie last night serve a very useful purpose in giving people some insight into what could happen and how things pan out - not a bad thing really cos till you've actually been through it as a number of us have unfortunately, you have no idea what goes on - so hats off to the producers of Corrie for showing it like they did - extremely sensitive and such wonderful acting from all concerned - would that Eastenders take a leaf out of Corries book - shall not be watching that again after last night's uncomfortable and frightening episode |
