Glad everybody had a brill day :-)))) we had all the children and grandchildren around all day hectic but the best pressie in the world :-)))))))))))))))))))

Awwww Maddie, thats a superb pressie! I guess you'll be quiet for a while getting that lot burned onto CD now lol

I feel awful. I knew my mum had knitted me a jumper (black aran, not too bad lol) and put a toy in for the cat, but.......when I phoned her last night I had only just got in, and just unwrapped it and got the cat playing with his toy, but hadn't actually taken the jumper out of the bag to look at it. I told her I had and that it was lovely.

But..........when I took it out this morning, another box fell out, and inside was a silver chain braclet, with a silver heart pendant, set with diamond and sapphire, and on the back is inscribed, Daughter, I was never so blessed as the day you were born. It's beautiful and made me cry.

I'm going to have to ring her this evening and apologise.

I got up at 7.30 with the kids not bad really. was great seeing thir faces esp harry.
I got the New Take that CD a bottle of baileys, book vouchers a web cam, clothes,loads of smellies.
Was a very quiet and low key xmas oh and we played the new Hollywood buzz version.
The soaps were great, I must have nodded off about 3 times.
Off to inlaws today-

I had my family here .......my mum , my hubby, my 4 kids and my x- hubby who has cancer ( just told us)...my two eldest spent most of the day with tears in their eyes .....coz I let him stay for the day.....
Well he was a crap hubby ...but the best dad in the world ..

he brought them both some thing they can keep "after" .................

Well Mum has just rung me, did a bit of grovelling and all ok....LOL

apart from lots of usuals, and some unexpected nice ones,,and my fav perfume,,

but my favourite favorite of the day has to be,in our family back to both sets of gtgrandparents, machine emboidered on linen framed ,my girls had it done by one of their friends,,,,,clever lady,,,,! just love it

its smashing, a treasure,,,,this lady can do miracles on her sewing machine,,,its all computerised,,the girls just sneaked in my stuff for the info..!!!


mind they do have my DOB down wrong,,I m sure of it,,,!!!ha ha,,,,,,,,,,

I always wanted one of those sewing machines, but the cheapest is £4000.....a little too much for a hobby, I'd need to do it as a business lol

I think this lady does stuff like club shirts and the like so maybe her cost more than domestic ones,

,,,but they now have all mod cons on them,just turn dials and away you go,,,!!!

Framed pictures of my god-daughters that make me giggle have to be my most emotional present!

But of course my best friend, still managed to make me cry with a Brown Box...... She always says its not a Diana event without the regulation Brown box...... its a Gucci brown box and inside was a pencil case for when I start my studies! Love her!

I think mine was a remote controlled car and a scaletrix from OH!!!!

I told him i had always wanted one as a child but was always told theyre for boys!!!! He does listen sometimes lol

An Email from my Son whom I had no contact with for many many years with photo of two of my grandchildren.Nothing could be Better. **M**.

I had lots of lovely things but 2 of my best are a diamond bandsaw and temperature controlled soldering iron! So now I'll be able to cut all sorts of tricky glass shapes and solder them back together as really fancy stained glass things.

I've come down with a nasty flu or bad cold so don't feel like doing anything with any of it at the moment! :(((
