Wev'e been in a recession for months, GB just won't admit it, how many people have you heard say that things are slowing down, i have my own business & work has been getting harder to find for months, many other traders i know all say the same, this country is finished. |

i think gordon brown is not a prime minister wether your a labour tory or liberal I think its bad to have one party in power for so long tory or labour it should change after 2 terms i think |

Forgot to add, the only people doing well in life are GB & his cronies, they are NEVER going to be hard up & having to make cutbacks in their lives, they just get richer & richer, us we just get poorer & poorer, as you may have guessed i am totaly fed up with the way we are just being walked all over. |

I don't think Gordon Brown would dare to admit how bad things are considering he's been our chancellor for the last 10 years - it's not going to reflect well on him is it? xx |

Maybe if the governments were accountable when they fail to keep their promises they might be more honest when touting for votes at election time too. |

"We" voted the Labour party in - in many respects it is immaterial who actually leads any given party. This is not a state whereby the president/premier/prime minister etc dictates. On the contrary, we still live in a country where debate is encouraged at all levels and the fact that Gordon Brown is the current figurehead is neither here nor there - does anyone really believe that he lays down the law and everyone else agrees? |
