Went into three oxfam shops whilst on holiday. They were all selling packeted stamps at reasonable prices but it seems as if there is an industry within that charity for used stamps.

Happy days

I have a little box in my living room which I pop them into and then take them into the girl at work, great at this time of year.

Just imagine how many more charities could be helped if everyone saved their stamps.

Been meaning to nudge this for weeks now, don't throw your stamps away that are on your Christmas card envelopes, let them raise money for charity

If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or contact our Fundraising Enquiries Team on 0845 345 0054 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).

Every day almost 100 people in the UK will start to lose their sight. Right now RNIB can only reach one in three of the people who need our help most. Recycle stamps and help us reach them all.

Hi C.

I thought stamps had to be forwarded on with a border of envelope round them, I have never taken mine off the backing, except when I got some that weren't franked so I could use them again lol

Sshhh don't tell Royal Mail lol

I have been wondering how easy it is to prepare the stamps nowadays for resale, as they are usually self adhesive ones, wonder if they come off as easily as the old type which presumably were steamed off?

I collect the ones from work and have been painstakingly sorting them, when, I find there is no need to ! Well that makes life a lot easier from now on.

Did not know who to give them to this year so will gladly send them off to them. I will have to weigh them to see how much I have collected lol.
