Hiya All,

The weather has been awful here as well, didnt sleep very well last night - there is woods at the back of my house - end of garden, and the noise of the wind rushing through them was so loud........just glad none have fallen or there is no damage.

dreading getting up tomorrow
what if we have snow hate that too .
next door has ivy we have to trim it all the time
as it grows down our fence , while hubby is fixing the fence i'll make sure it lies flat on there lawn , and jump on it a few , times aint i awful
hate ivy it creeps all over the place .
not liking much tonight am i lol

Rose, i agree with the ivy as well, causes the wood to rot, use the wood paint that kills growth and accidently on purpose spill some on thier roots............Lol

Wow! How windy and horrible has it been today! Well, I was in the computer suite with a group of kids and it got to around 10:50 so I asked them to save their work and shut their computers down. Got them back to class five minutes later, told their teacher I would take them out as it was my duty, went the loo and got my coat ready to go. How happy was I to discover it wasn't FRIDAY! I soooo didn't want to go out on duty today but think I will be less likely to want to go out tomorrow the way this weather is shaping up. House is sitll in tact which is a good thing. Hope everyone else is safe and warm and not experiencing any problems with blown down things.

Good evening all, what a horrible cold wet windy day today. Break duty was horrendous and we just got back into school at the end of break and the biggest hale stones thundred to the ground.

Well, dad's aunt who was 83 passed away the other day and it was her funeral today. My dad and his sister were adopted by their maternal grandparents after their mum died when he was twelve and a half months old, so this aunt became his big sister and they were all very close. Dad was asked by her son to give a small speech at the crem which he did soooo very well. I am glad I managed to get the time off school to go to the crem this afternoon and support dad and his family. My uncle has come home today, the hospital have changed their minds about the regimen of treatment for him which isn't good news I don't think. At least he will now feel more comfortable at home though he is still going to be visiting Clatterbridge for radiotherapy to help with pain relief. Just right now I feel it 'never rains but it pours.'

Sorry my friends for my downbeat mood, I hope Feb turns out to be far betther than January has, I'm not convinced it will be though.

Hope all are well, hope Pops is feeling better Rog and you are all keeping safe and warm.
