Bibliomaniac, I am so glad you found my try at your conundrum to your liking. I will stay on a short word list today, I must go shopping with that lady who is right in all things. (My Missus).
xxx to you and all your fans.

hi

all ,

will try my hand at this again, today I picked wild fruit (it is black) to make a fruit and crumb crust,
to munch for lunch. do you know what it is?

ButtercupFields Report 28 Aug 2007 16:12

Joy, is that fruit which you will cook a black fruit with knobbly bits on it?

Joy, you may also add that it grows on plants with many thorns growing amongst said fruit.

This conundrum is a puzzling thing
It saps my tiring brain
To try composing paragraphs
And words is just a pain.

Without using symols that
Bibliomaniac says “taboo”
I find it jolly hard to say
Just what I want to you.

For that lady wordaholic
Is a tyrant don’t you know
All of us try oh so hard
To allow rhymings to flow.

But without a common symbol
No. 5 in alpha's list
I cannot find a word that suits
My off is oh so pist. (sorry about that !!!!)

So my goodly wordsmith
Can I try again for you
And think up forty paragraphs
Without a symbol Q ?

ButtercupFields

ButtercupFields Report 28 Aug 2007 16:46

Oh I am so sad
I cannot do rhyming
Like Mr B'nad:-)

bf and kitty you both got said fruit, it grows among thorns, and jolly tasty too.

Thank you to all my brainy pals, I am so glad you find this fun, although brains do start hurting if you do too much of it

Bob and his lady had a good day, I am so glad,

Folks who shopped for uniforms, I am glad you had good luck, lots of cash has found its way into tills in shops

Tasty puddings will show up in bowls across this land, with custard no doubt

Chris, glad you found us, no sign of our Ron, not on this or A-Z of rhyming ;-((

B*rnard what can I say? Rhyming without that symbol, simply mind-boggling.

Your good lady has found a star,
A man with ability, who could go far
A man who minds his p’s and q’s
Who is not put out by don’ts and do’s
This is all my rhyming for today
My hubby wants his food, so I cannot stay

That fruit, it's black and knobbly, good with sugar and grows in my yard but is difficult to pick without a scratch or two on your arms.
Yum and ouch!
My son is going to Calais on a boat today. With his chums and camping stuff all going to tour gallic towns. Will my boy ring tonight to say all is on track? I doubt it!

Did your son ring Chris, boys can be so naughty, I know

Chris' son no doubt had calm crossing, not many wobbly bits on horizon off our coast.

If calm and warm today, grandson and I might go to Dymchurch, for fun and sun and to look for hard casing from small aquatic animals.

Morning all:-) Warm and sunny for
now, digits crossing as I sit. Smilingly and happily indulging in foot caring at 11.30 by Chiropodist who will find and banish corns. Bliss. Happy Day in front of Thursday. BC XX

Another rhyming block of words
From Mr.B today
I want you all to try again
Composing words this way

Its not too hard, just work your brain
And words just start to flow
And on the PC plonk away
For rhymings you can show

Don’t think of syntax or of grammar
Or nary right and wrong
Just carry on composing words
That sound OK in song

For rhyming is just words you know
As in any common ditty
So grab your PCs all of you
Bob, Paul, Sally and Kitty

And Harry, Jason, John and Jack
And girls who can do rhyming
Come on Joan, Amanda, Joy,
And Barbara, go miming

But D, you bibliomaniac
What can you think up now
This conundrum can’t go on
You must take your bow

This has had a smashing run
For days, almost a fortnight
But now an hour’s arriving
To finish now – that’s forthright.

I'll try to put words in a row
That will, as writ, go with a flow
I don't know if I can although
I think I will , I can you know!!

thank you

I think, B*rnard, it is not I who should stop this flow of words; to spoil fun and frolics is not my plan.

If folks should not add, I would not justify it staying, but till such a day is on us, this tortuous brain-numbing strand of words will stay

BarneyKent

BarneyKent Report 29 Aug 2007 13:16

Oh God assist us, it won't stop,
Miss D says carry on,
So I must do what Miss D says,
OK I'll go along

With your conundrum I will stay
I trust that is not bad
For it is hard to stop this fun
D - you must think I'm mad
