Me - I'm single too ............... Never been married - never even been engaged or proposed to :O( Only 3 long term relationships (ie 12 months or more). Never lived with a man - doubt I ever will - nobody wants me lol Been on my own again for 2 years now.

looks like we are all pretty much on the same boat girls, i am not a man hater either, but i don't want another one that's for sure. think we should start a single girls club, will get my lad to babysit the little ones lol stella x

think you are right CG, it is better for him to find out for himself what his father is like, he will realise with time that when it mattered most his mum was always there any way neither of us has has anything to thank our exes for except our beautiful boys stella x

Stella my ex was a coward and to escape him involved a restraining order and other charges which I took the whole way and he was found guilty. He has disappeared and has never made any attempt to contact his son. I don't run him down to my son, he asks a question and I answer in a way a child can understand, have kept photos of him and my son can look any time he likes. I can say for sure if he turned up now wanting to see him I would not allow it, wont go into it but dangerous person and no way he would be allowed to take my son out for the day. If my son wants to look for him when he is older he can do so, that way he can decide for himself if he wants to know him, that is if his father wants to know him?

country girl, i never had any help either but i never stopped my boy from knowing his father, now he is 18, lovely lad , well adjusted , no hang ups he sees his father for what he is for himself, i have never poisoned his mind. my ex has had 3 more children with different women since i divorced him . my boy knows who his best friend is and who stayed the course. I never took up with another man,all my love has been for my child stella x
