I remember Andrew saying he thought he had found his birth mother. I think he was asking advice on what he should do next. Some birth mothers might not want to know so it is great that you are happy with it. Huia (in New Zealand).

its so nice to read about andrews quest to find and that he took advice from alot of people on here .. i was thrilled ,over joyed he found me had been waiting a very long time for that day ...i remember the feeling getting that email was one of the best days of my life i think it left me smiling for a week ...monday will be the happiest day for me ...hes grown into the most wonderful caring witty person ..im so lucky and we have both have tremendous support through this first stage which helps a great deal .. annie xx

It is great to see everybody's replies and from people so close and so far away.we all cant wait to see andrew and annie together.when he will meet us all,he will meet all his anutie's and his uncle's and little cousins as well 2 of the little cousins are under 1,bless.he has 8 cousins.the oldest is 12.that will be a brill day.cant wait.annie not long for you now,bet you counting the hour's and min's.(((lol))).

I've been following this thread with interest as my friend was adopted ........ I think it is absolutley brilliant news and to have MUM < SON < AND AUNTY on here too ........ flipping heck .... family reunion already lol .......... Seriously tho it is fantastic as you are both obviously so excited at seeing each other i don't know how you are managing to stay apart ........... I know i couldn't have........... My friend has just started on her quest to find her natural family ..................... We have loads of info but she is going thro the correct channels ie social serv's and has just signed the papers to have her file released ........... she is such a nervy person ............ bless Good luck to you all in your new family life xxxxxxx

I would like to say in front of everyone here a big thank you to my lovely son andrew who has been soo mature and has made the whole thing so easy for me ..i cant believe that on monday will be able to touch him and look into his eyes ..even though he was adopted he was loved everyday from me ..a thought went out to him most days .. hes trully a remarkable young man and im so proud to have him back in my life ...and im proud in all he has achieved ... mum xxxx
