found out whilst doing their tree they are related to anyone famous or of historical importance? My partner is very distantly related to a popstar! Just interested thats all Love Jess

I found out that I am related to Graham Barry Clilverd he is not exactly famous but he was a member of the royal academy and his pictures are featured in some museums,(I was just able to purchase one of his prints on Ebay) his brother Ralph was in the 1912 olympics in the modern pentathalon.

I have found Thomas Quiney b1589 married Judith Shakespeare (daughter of you know who!!!!!) I am a Quinney by marrige and very proud of my ancestor--even though its by marrying into the family.

My husband is related to Mary Ann Evans (real name of the author George Elliot.) Unfortunately I've found no-one famous in my family (not even a villain!)

Hi all My grandfather was Bernrad Meninsky -who - he was an artist,paintings in tate and many other galleries,also war memorial museum for his work as war artist and correspondent,his younger son is still alive and a fantastic artist.Its Bernards family in Ukraine that l'm trying to find,any idea's??????? All the BRADSHAWS are related somehow and my mother was a Bradshaw. There was a JOHN BRADSHAWE of Marple, Cheshire, the first,& only, President of England (not counting T. Blair). He was the Judge who presided at the trial of King Charles I and he signed the death warrant together with Cromwell and others. He had no direct descendants as he had no children. There were also BRADSHAWS from the Plague Village of EYAM in Derbyshire and I have traced a family from an actual plague victim's survivor who married into the Bradshaws. Vera, Manchester LAN
