Mogue. Although there are references in Scotlnad I am interested only in those from England. Elizabeth Mogue was my Grandfather's wife - not my Grandmother though. It seems to have died out. Jane |

If we are talking about names on GC I have a list: I have the only Ayleward, Cocbone, Cockbane, Maledy, Villendue, Walsh-Jones and Wetheril. Also I have probably the only two Wedralds that have ever existed. |

I always thought that ORD was a rare name, but we have just reached 1000 today!! Yet I still have not connected with another living Ord!!! I have many unusual surnames in my tree. On GC there are less than 10 of all these names - singularities are in blocked capitals: Arrison, Bab, Basala, BAUCK, Blomer, Bodina, Bonnewitz, Boskinning, Brucker, BURNELLA, Cassup, Deble, DEWAEGAMAERE, Deyoung, Dorsman, Dumbling, Dunker, Eet, Forkin-Holmes, HARDENBROOK, Harye, HEINZINGER, Helmuth, Huening, Jeppesen, KACMAR, Kirchman, KNEIPP, KRETCHEK, LADUE, Lorah, Lueder, Mashaw, Melaas, METEREITER, MODENE, Ormesby, Peares, Rachell, Shetford, Shindell, Slaker, STOHRY, TEISMAN, THEIBERT, Ullom, Waggot, Walys, Walyshe, Yourer. The most names in my tree is Douglas with 160 - got 119 Ords!! |

Hi Brian in Essex. That's odd. I've got the only Botren on GC. There is only the one entry on the IGI and none on the 1881 census!! Debbie |
