Hi, I think no. 13 is 'Vote, vote, vote for Nigel Barton' no. 3 is 'Two gun Tex from Texas' (Although Tex Ritter was a real singin' cowboy - try his version of 'High Noon') 'Torchy' is definitely the battery boy - he had a black cat, really showing my age now! Will have a look at the others....... :)

Number 3 is Tex Tucker from Four Feather Falls. Old puppet show from the makers of Twizzle etc. Number 19 is Blue Peter - sad/blue, slang for safe/peter Sue

Hi Tracy, The answer to number 14 is "It's a square world" with Michael Bentine who was a Goon. I am feeling ancient, as I seem to have watched most of these programmes when I was younger!! Sue

Number 5 is Sooty. Harry *H* Corbett played the son in Steptoe whereas Harry Corbett spent his days with his hand up Sooty

Hi Tracey I have had my Dad working on this. He thinks the following: No. 7 Mr Pastry No. 12 The Brains Test No. 13 (Vote vote vote for) Nigel Barton Also No. 11 could be Coronation Street; emporium is a shop and 'new gent' might be Emily Nugent. What do you think? I have never heard of any of them, except Corrie of course, so they must be very ancient!!

Sue

Sue Report 27 Apr 2004 14:14

I think 12 is The Brains Trust, not test. Sorry Suzanne's Dad! Sue

Quite right Sue. My Dad said The Brains Trust, but I mis-read it. He's working on the others as we speak!!
