Ladies, Gentlemen,,,,please, Is this, or is this not, a democratic society, where everyone can have their say, and not be pilloried for their beliefs and opinions. I have taken on board, all the comments of you all, some a little `abusive`some a little more responsible, but to you all, I will say, thank you for your responces by replying to this thread, and I wish you all well, and good luck to England in the matches ahead. Love you all, Baz |

why pick on one man, as was said earlier its a team game, if you dont like footy baz why start the thread, maybe to get a reaction? from my 2 loyal English men in the house, i hear the second half England were slack as a team not one player. my son was devastated they lost, thankfully the school bullys didnt pick on him today as he usually gets for being English, ( yes your right we live in britain, however some think wales never loose anything!) leave beckham alone, hes been a good role model and family man doesnt bash his wife and takes care of his kids, if someone made a statement about you how would you prove it was lies? you couldnt, mud sticks. go by what you see. opps there i go again, just slipped off me soap box. |

I don't hear anyone saying what a wonderful player Zidane is. Two goals in such a short space of time. No wonder he is the world's number 1 player. Let's all be sports and look at the game for what it's worth. Let the best team win. I watch for the sportsmanship and am not out to find fault. Sylvia |

Well I'm absolutely gutted!!!! I aren't going to question Erikkson's 'management' but a few mistakes were made I think. Beckham didn't have a good game. I thought that the 2nd half, the squads standards slipped a bit, they became a bit more laid back. Big mistake!!!! Fingers crossed for Thursday!!!! Gem |

At least one person seems to have realised that Rooney was unlikely to have taken the penalty as he was no longer on the pitch. |

I hate football and I am not keen on Beckham but can I ask why he plays for England? I thought he had gone to Spain to play. I do not understand any of it really. Debbie |

What a terrible miss; you would have thought that after playing with Bartez with utd that he would know that there was a good chance of it being saved. But the worst move was ericson taking off rooney for heskey That foul was unforgivable. |

i think moving to madrid has made beckham lazy, its a different type of football over there, because of the high temperatures, you cant run around as they do in the premiership...ime surprised he took the penalty,as during his days at man utd,he took hundreds on the training ground against barthas..so the keeper knew him well. marion,i couldnt believe your post...ive suppoerted neath RFC,all my life,as well as third division swansea. best wishes...bryan. |
