Checked my contacts - and guess what - John Henry Thornthwaite seems to have crept into some, if not all, of my contacts - can't remember the name of the last chap this happened with but I know something sismilar has happened before!! |

Maggie I contacted 7 people over the weekend with regard to possible connections. I've just looked in my contacts and it's there... You contacted NAME on 17 july 2004 about NAME using John Henry Thornthwaite as the relation link in your tree. Who is John Henry Thornthwaite? He certainly isn't in my tree. What does it mean? What do we do about it? What Happened last time? Don't I ask a lot of questions? LOL Jeanette |

Just put a search in for John Henry Thornthwaite in the Quick Search and there are 2. One belongs to somebody called James and the other to somebody called Christopher. I didn't contact either a James or a Christopher. Jeanette |

Apparently I have contacted quite a lot of people regarding John Henry going back quite a while. (12 at last count going back to 23 August 2003) News to me. Have GC been informed does anyone know. Janet |

Janet I've just looked back further and found another 14! They aren't next to all my contacts. They seem to be the ones I have contacted when I've beeen going through new names added and contacted them about a possible connection. The poeple I have contacted from the message boards haven't got JHT's name by them. Think I'll drop GC a line. Jeanette |

Hiya, Just read this thread and checked my contacts. As I don't often find connections with having a rare name, I only contact people very infrequently. I've found his name twice in my contacts. Once at the weekend and once in January. I did contact the people named, but he is named as being a relation concerned or something??? Weird!! Sarah |

I've got 3 entries for JHT in my contacts - all where I have sent mail on spec without the person that I was enquiring about being on my tree or shown on GR. Do you think that this is like a 'John Doe' name that GR have used for convenience sake?? It only seems to occur in my contacts under the circumstance that I have mentioned. Mags |
