Yorkshire Pudding, how do you take it :)

Some say plate sized with gravy before the meal, some say small with the meal and some say large square before or with the meal. I am yorkshire and we used to have plate size with gravy before the meal. This was to fill you up so you wouldnt be dissapointed when the dinner of one potato, one pea, one carrot and hiding behind the pea, the beef was put in front of you, Ahhh those were the days lol. |

Not to crispy but then not too soft. Half poured with gravy, sitting next to Turkey, beef or chicken with golden roast potatoes, peas or carrot and turnip, cauliflower and possibly parsnip. Maybe some Brussle sprouts aswell. |

mmm didn't have lunch today, hungry now. Am aware that Yorshires were traditionally a "starter", but in our house they're server along with the roast. Don't like gravy on mine, don't like it when they go soggy, but I do like to "dunk" lol Finally - anyone who buys Aunt Bessie's should be ashamed of themselves lol Paul (alienating more people everyday lol) |

Just plenty of them with roast beef and thick onion gravy and any veg,not bothered about the potatoes. My daughter has them cold with strawberry jam just like Sue. sue |

WHAT! Not bothered about "the potatoes"? How can you say such a thing? The Roast Potatoes are what makes the meal! The crispyness, the golden colour the falvour! wouldn't you agree Bryan??? |

I love my mother in laws yorkshire pudding. she makes it in a roast pan and it rises on the side and become crispy and the centre is like a pudding nice and soft. I don't compete with her pud and thus DANIEL LONGMAN buy Aunt Bessies LOL Much happiness Debi |

Donna, they are pre cooked and you pop them in the oven at 200 for 3 mins, very nice and no mess, the real thing is best but these are a close second :) |
