He should be able to afford to pay for the operation to ensure that his sexual urges do not endanger the future well-being and lives of others - the surplus should go towards the Rape Crisis Centres trying to survive around the country. Why should the bounder gain the benefit of his gains? To be perfectly frank the sod should have been done away with permanently at the time of being found guilty of his crimes, and we would not be having this conversation now - sorry to offend those who think the punishment I believe in is too harsh, but I fail to understand how some no-mark responsible for such heinous crimes can have access to gambling whilst serving a prison sentence! I would like to add my five pence worth on this subject, but as i can't keep it clean enough not to upset other members i hadn't better.....! Just suffice to say if justice had been done he wouldn't be able 'walk' on his day out!!!!! As for our so called legal system....................! Time for me to go sit in a dark corner now and calm down, lol Yvette |

If only you lovely people out there know how well off these prisoners are in todays prisons you would be apalled they want for nothing ,EVERY facility is available to them at no charge ,just remember the victims, how much they cost the tax payer, and the fact they put themselves in there and the staff who have to look after them, they deserve nothing. |

I have just read news on teletext about this scumbag, according to the news report."He was nearing the end of his sentence" but the scumbag was only jailed in 1989 how can they call that a life sentence. He should have been locked up for life and the key thrown away.QUOTE"Under Home Office guidlines prisoners on temporary release from jail are allowed to play the lottery."But at least his victims CAN sue him for all they can get out of him. I don't think that his winnings should be taken from him as he was acting legitimately, but I think that his victims should sue him for every penny. I don't think he should have been on day release either. I find it disappointing that he won the money, but the whole point is that the lottery is a game of chance and if the winner isn't deserving of the prize then so be it. |

Sorry Lucia, deprived of his freedom, is that what happens you get a day shopping amongst loads of women buy a lottery ticket and win millions. In Toronto last year a guy was let out and kidnapped a little ten year girl, chopped her up and threw in lake Ontario, he did not pay for his crime the little girls family did. How about giveing the money to the old people for heating, food, bills, but then again what people would want that money now?. |
