Kim and Fred - I salute you!! Gaynor.... one thinks you like the new nickname!! :O) Did a 4 mile walk last night.... legs really hurt today.... but not as much as my head as we ended up in the pub and as I was without the car.... yep.... completely trolleyed and on a school night too!! :O) |

D'oh! I hadn't deleted the . at the end of the address when I copy and pasted! How embarrassed am I? Keep it up, I'll be interested to see how much it has gone up when I come home from hols. You never know, if Lady Luck shines on me when I'm in Vegas, I might be able to add more! Carole |

See she is loving the title of MAD WOMAN!! Anyway, quick update..... We are just over £70 under our first £1000..... which is tremendous at this stage of the fund-raising..... I have very sore legs.... completed my 1st ever 4 mile walk on Tuesday, traipsing the streets of Newbury with my pal Dave..... must say he was a bit of a bully.... joking Dave honest, just would've stopped at the first pub myself not the last of 20 that we walked past!! ;O) This weekend, I am going to walk for 2 hours instead of the 1 hour and 10 minutes that the 4 miles took me to walk... so it will be a bit further!! :O) Thanks again for all the support both financially and emotionally that you have given.... me has had a bad week one way or another and you lot have cheered me no end!! thanks again!! D |

Just a bit of rain..... it's been chucking it down all weekend.... so bad that i haven't left the flat since Friday afternoon until this morning when I had to come to work.... haven't spoken to a single person all weekend apart from text and email.... how sad is that? |

We have achieved 25% of the £5k that gaynor wants and after only 10 days or so.... you should all be very proud of yourselves... I can see £10k coming!! :O) |

I did a 6 mile training session on Sunday and my butt is killing me.... I didn't know i had muscles there at all!! :O) And it ended up at my house not the local hostelery!! How good was I? Did go in there later tho... got the official sponsorship forms in now so they are being posted up in strategic places.... have obtained pledges from companies for items to auction, have organised the wear it PINK day at work and setting up the Xmas card alternative too. So I have no doubt at all that we will reach and exceed the £5k we are aiming for!! |
