Paul, that's how my son ended up calling his Percy when he was small! I rang hubby at work today to ask what his was called as a lad - and he still claims he can't remember! Will have to ring mil and ask her (NOT). The girls' thread has been removed (I remember now, the person who posted it removed a lot of their threads) - maybe we should start it again. Mandy :)) |

I quietly pointed out to an elderly friend that his zip was down. He just as quietly retorted "best to leave the window open when there's a dead man in the house". When I go to the loo, I usually excuse myself by saying I am going to consult with my ancesters. If there are spiritualists around, or people who know the jargon, I am going for a private sitting. Thanks Mandy, heard that one some years ago. My husband says to tell you he's "A Midsummer Nights Dream". (Yeah, I say, "Dream" on.....). Glenys :-) Just noticed the time - 11.35 p.m. - so better get to bed soon. Night night, all! |

Back to the subject in hand! Or not! Slang from the south east these two I think Hampton (wick) and Bishop (rock). Personally I relate more to the second! |
