my cousin took me to see,his best friend, who had just had hos first record,in the top twenty,this was in the sixties,and the guys name was ..glen weston..ive just googled it,and apparently he sang the title song,from the 1968 version of romeo and juliet......memories,memories. bryan. |

I've been waiting for another 60's one!! Would that have been the Station Hotel in Richmond? I remember going to see the Everly Brothers again when they toured with Bo Diddley (about 1963/64). Also on the bill were the Rolling Stones. It was just after their first record, "Come On", was released. I'm afraid (that night) they were awful, they were lost on a big stage and their sound wasn't very good. After they performed one or two of them came and sat in the row in front of us to watch Bo Diddley! |

Pat, my son bought me the Rod Stewart live at the Albert Hall DVD for christmas, it was the concert that was on TV a few months ago but longer. Ronnie Wood joined him on stage for some of the old Faces numbers and the atmosphere was just like some of the old concerts with all the audience singing along. If you like him treat yourself to a copy. Carolyn |

Wow Tony you saw the late great Jackie Edwards? I have seen Desmond Dekker a few times, still was good in the 1990's Hey Camberwell, I imagine it was really good, Desmond is a great bloke, love him so much X he is great fun. He is very well by the way. Pat x |
